William “Bill” Cover (47-9)

Dr. William H. Cover is an accomplished Scientist and Regulatory Affairs Professional with more than 30 years of proven leadership experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries. Dr. Cover has worked for both large and small start-up companies holding positions in functional areas that include regulatory affairs, drug development, validation, quality assurance/control, production, and research. He has patents, publications and invited presentations in his fields of expertise.
Dr. Cover’s interest in “water” originated as a scientist developing manufacturing processes for antibiotics, vaccines and cholesterol lowering drugs where he observed the chemical and microbial content of water from natural sources had major impact on manufacturing processes and water purification systems. As Head of Research of a small biotechnology company he led research projects to develop novel water purification systems for bottled drinking water, water for injection and waste treatment systems.
Today, Dr. Cover interest in Blue Lake Springs Water Company stems from his desire to serve the local community using his formal legal training and experience working professionally with Federal Agencies (mostly FDA) to find a balance between reasonable environmental goals and the ability to maintain a healthy supply of safe drinking water to our community.
Bill and Marlaine Cover have been married 33 years and recently purchased a retirement home located at 1158 Greensboro Way, Arnold, Ca. They have two daughters (Ari and Alexa), both are Attorneys working in California. They are blessed with one grandchild and hope to have many more that will visit the grand parents at Blue Lake Springs.
Dr. Cover works as a Regulatory Scientist for a small Cell and Gene Therapy Company in Menlo Park. Marlaine is a Social Entrepreneur and a bestselling author. They are members of the Sequoia Woods Country Club.
