USDA funded Water Distribution System Improvement Project
Our USDA funded Water Distribution System Improvement Project is scheduled to begin September 10, 2018, however you will see pre-construction activity after Labor Day. We will be working in 12 “Zones”, the first of which will be the Main Zone. The first area encompasses David Lee Road, Russell Drive, Dean Way, Kuehn Avenue, Linda Drive and portions of the beginning of Moran Road, Blue Lake Springs Drive and Snow Flake Drive. Construction hours will be 7:00am to 4:30pm.
We will be communicating work areas, traffic control and all other pertinent information via social media including: Nextdoor, Facebook, Constant Contact, individual emails and our website: www.blsmwc.com where you will find the full subdivision map, individual zone maps, construction schedules and more.
We will also be using snail mail when we move into a new zone. These letters will go to the homeowners that will be currently affected in that zone. We estimate there will be 3 letters sent out to each household:
- When work is beginning in your area
- When work is completed in your area and the date you need to be hooked-up by
- The date the old mains will be abandoned and water will be turned off
Our plan is to give you as much up-to-the-minute information as possible. We can do this most effectively if we have your email addresses.
